Singer-rapper-dancer-actress Becky G was discovered in 2011 after posting remix videos of herself on YouTube. Born Rebbeca Marie Gomez in 1997, the California girl decided at the age of 9 that she wanted to be an entertainer. Commercial work followed, as did a pair of failed attempts at forming successful girl groups.
